Once a position has been filled, the best way to stop receiving new job applications is to “pause” a position. Once a position is paused, the job description will be saved along with every application that has already been received. Pausing a position can also save time the next time that you need to hire more employees. To resume advertising job opportunities, simply “un-pause” the position.
Pausing & un-pausing a position is easy
Begin by clicking on the “My Positions” Tab
Next, select the position that you want to stop advertising
Then choose from the “Take Action” drop down menu
Finally, select the “Pause” option. The job opportunity will no longer be advertised:
Select “Un-pause” to resume advertising the position, and the position will be posted to job boards once again:
